I’m buzzing to finally share my new book, The Debt Collector, which hits shelves on 18th November.

This one cut deep when I wrote it. The story might live in the underworld, but the emotions are real — loyalty, fear, revenge, and that brutal truth that not everyone survives paying what they owe.

When Nancy Richards is sent to prison, her daughter Jeanie ends up in the care of Edna Baker — a woman who knows how to survive in London’s East End. But when a bent copper threatens to send Jeanie to Laxville Children’s Home, Edna calls in favours from Soho’s heavyweights, Ganni Cassar and Vic Menzie.

Laxville has broken plenty before, and Edna will do anything to keep Jeanie out. Trouble is, someone else is watching — Buster Reynolds, a man who doesn’t want money. He wants Nancy. And if he can’t have her, her daughter will do.

It’s dark, raw, and emotional — a story that made me tear up at times. I wanted to show what happens when ordinary people get dragged into a world that doesn’t forgive weakness.

If you’ve read my other books, you’ll know I don’t sugar-coat things. The Debt Collector is no different — it’s fast, it’s ruthless, and it’s packed with twists that even surprised me.
